Story is my chosen art and science, and I practice it from every angle.

In a superfaceted career that began with many jobs in New York, moved into emerging media in San Francisco, then expanded across industries in Los Angeles, I’ve built a purposely diverse toolkit for sharing complex ideas with vibrant cohesion.

I’ve developed voice and defined narrative, directed multimedia campaigns and guided multidisciplinary teams, led the creation of content across channels, mediums, and genres, and written words on bestselling products and beyond. I’ve streamlined complication into energizing simplicity and synthesized dissonance into harmonious jazz. I’ve spoken Shakespeare and sketch comedy, poetry and pop culture, metaphor and meme.

At the center of it all is an insatiable enthusiasm for identity-shaping storytelling and the connective power of good conversation.

I’m currently the founder of Ecstatic Voice, a communication studio and voice lab with a uniquely interdisciplinary lens. I teach thought leaders how to share their voices in the EV Lab, train MBA and data science teams to communicate innovation at the Rady School, and write The Ecstatic Review on Substack.

I studied at Northwestern’s School of Communication before writing my MFA thesis on translating complexity at UC San Diego. I grew up crossing the bridges of the Bay Area and have been crafting connections ever since.
