I was hired by ban.do’s Chief Creative Officer as the lifestyle brand’s first-ever in-house copywriter, based on a blind test with 100+ other applicants. Just a few months later, I was promoted to Director of Communication and Content—defining voice, guiding narrative, and shaping story across all channels and on dozens of bestselling products—then as consulting Head of Copy to guide the brand into new categories.
ROLE
While at ban.do full time, I led and crafted words and story on every output—from surface words to social copy, emails to editorial features, design reports to sales guides, brand decks to press releases, scripts to creative briefs—working closely with Creative, Marketing, Growth, Product, Sales, and Social, and with countless copywriters, artists, and designers.

EVOLUTION
After leaving ban.do in a full-time capacity, I’ve continually been asked back through multiple changes in leadership as Consulting Head of Copy to guide high-visibility collections, partnerships with brands like Barnes & Noble and Baggu, and ever-evolving creative teams.
